Greetings to all. Later today a story will go up on our web site about the two new bands allocated to the amateur radio service. They are:135.7 to 137.8 KHz and the best of all, 5.250 to 5.400 KHz on a secondary basis. In addition, we will be elevated to primary on 2.400 to 2.402 GHz. Hopefully later today we will be able to direct you to the actual language of NPRM-FCC 02-136. All of us should be very proud of the work done by those who were experiment stations, our Washington team, and last the entire staff and board of directors. You can say with great pride that the ARRL was instrumental in obtaining these new bands for amateur radio. 73 Jim Haynie, W5JBP President
