Mark, HDX snip- New Online Form 4 SEC reporting tool goes live! As the first component of new software intended to replace ARES Connect, which was sunset Thursday,July 15th, a new form 4a reporting tool for Section Emergency Coordinators (SECs) has been developed for electronic submission of their monthly reports. The new online form allows each SEC to enter monthly participation totals by category for his/her Section in a web browser each month and then - with a single “click” - submit the summary to HQ. There is no longer a need to email a copy of the report to Newington. Submitted data from each SEC will now be input directly into the reports database, eliminating manual data entry at HQ. SECs will be able to locally print their reports for their records, if they wish. SECs will be receiving an email link with instructions for creating a username and password to log into the application, complete the form, and access additional functions. Paul Z.
