Maybe that is the most valuable part of "Amateur Radio Today" program: We found at the ARRL Booth for the LV NAB Show last week that many folks who passed by the booth only stopped because Cronkite's voice caught their attention (from the showing we had on a continuous video tape). 73/Fried(*___*)"choice=responsibility"

Jim,
As you already know I love this CD-Rom.
Last week one of the guys in our NY antenna bill group used it to to lobby an asemblyman on the bill. The assemblyman had a new computer in his office and he did not realize that the sound was not working. Despite not having the Walter Crokite audio he was very impressed with the professional job on the video. Perhpas he thought it was going to be an "amateur" job. In any event he has now signed on to consponsor our bill.
On Wednesday three of us head to Albany to meet with members of the Association of Towns and later a counsel for a key committee and we will be armed with copies of the video plus my laptop.
