As I have heard from several of you privately, I though the following may be appropriate. Please do not respond to the letters being sent out by the Mabuhay Radio Club here in Michigan. First, they are not even a League Affiliated Club. Second, they have a very small Membership, less than 15 I believe. Third, their International attendance is from Canada, and the U.S. Fourth, they are trying to become a bigger frog in the pond than they are at the moment. Their intentions are good. They have flooded the world with invitations. Our Michigan SM and ACC are working with them to help them understand and put together a League program. 73...George --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. George and the rest......... If this deals with the "Grand Eye Ball", I have attended a couple of these functions when they were held here in the San Diego area. It basically is an international convention for Filipino Amateur Radio Operators, both here stateside, and in Canada, and the rest of the world. The 2 events that I attended had well over 250 people in attendance. The group you are talking about may not be an affiliated club, but the people who attend this "camp out", a great many of them are League members. I believe Fried also has attended one or 2 of these events. I did get an invitation to the one in Michigan, but will not be able to go. If it were held in San Diego, I would go again in a heart beat. 73 all, Tuck NZ6T George Race wrote:
