Kevin did have an active legal defense fund. I don't know how much out of the pocket expense Kevin had to pay but remember he is very famous as a super hacker in the computer nerd community. He has received roles in movies and is in big demand on the lecture tour. I even think that feds want him now to work for them probing possible terrorist web sites and internet communication. I believe he will be a big service to our country if cultivated in the right way. Even the online money transfer services have contacted him to help prevent exploitation. He will do fine. Don Miller, who I knew back in Illinois when I was attending college, contacted me last week and he is back into amateur radio. He will appear at the Dayton Hamvention. I predict he will speak to standing only crowds. As for me, I am just happy to talk to old friends on the ham bands again. Last night the FCC reversed the dismissal of my application for KV4FZ and granted it. So NP2MJ is now KV4FZ. As General MacArthur told General Wainright at Batan, Philippines; "I have returned"! 73 and Seasons Greetings Herb, KV4FZ
