Rosalie White, in consultation with Director Vallio and Vice Director Oppel, has named Ti-Michelle Connelly, NJ6T, as the new SM of East Bay Section, effective July 7. Ti-Michelle replaces Dennis Franklin, K6DF, who has stepped down for personal and health reasons. Ti-Michelle has been an ASM and ACC for about 3 years, was NM in 1994-1996, was Hayward RC treasurer and president of the San Leandro RC, and founder and is member of the Bay Area Educational Amateur Radio Society (15-20 VEs who also put on quick study courses and testing, with the unique requirement of examinees of having to have an Elmer).
