To All, John Proctor at ARRL HQ has an updated file. Greg, prior to your Hamfest, ask him to send you an updated copy. Some of the divisions had faulty programs on the memory stick. My full database worked, but the division specific one did exactly what was discussed below. May we change our way of distributing this letter writing file? Restricting it to directors is ridiculous. Dave, can we just ask John proctor to post the file on the ODV page (as well as updates) so then when an update is released, it is available to all of us? We could then plan to download the updated file prior to each event. If Directors consent is needed to release the file to Vice Directors, I’m sure we can easily do an e-mail vote. All of us should receive the full database file, not a division specific. It has saved us a lot of time to have the full database, so that when we get an out of division member, we do not have to type in all their information. When using the generator at the Rocky Mountain Division and New Mexico State conventions, we had several folks in attendance who lived outside of the Division and wanted to sign letters. Using the version that contained League-wide data (not just Division specific data) was very helpful in those situations so, I agree, there's no need to maintain and distribute versions for specific Divisions. 73, Brian N5ZGT
