[arrl-odv:33589] May QST - paper

You should be receiving your May QST soon. You will immediately notice, as we did, that this is NOT "our paper" This was the only paper that LSC was able to get so that we could get QST out on time We have not changed the quality of the paper. This is not a direction or a policy decision. This is not "cheaping out" to save money. This was the only paper the printer could acquire that was close to our quality. We are struggling month in and month out with LSC and the availability of paper. It is not an issue of having paper on order. It is an issue of the paper actually being manufactured. We will be discussing at A&F next week the full picture, at that point, of where the market is, and what the potential impact to the QST operating budget will be full year 2022. We will be writing an announcement to members once we can get the website back online!! David

Thank you David, for the update. I would say that since others are now only “returning to print” after a digital only hiatus that we are well ahead of the game. Hi All,Got mine today. You are right David, it's not "our" usual paper, but IMHO it's not what it's printed on that counts, it's the content that makes it great!!Scott, N8SY Sent from my smartphone -------- Original message --------From: "Minster, David NA2AA (CEO)" <dminster@arrl.org> Date: 3/31/22 1:14 PM (GMT-05:00) To: arrl-odv <arrl-odv@arrl.org> Subject: [arrl-odv:33589] May QST - paper You should be receiving your May QST soon. Hi David, My QST arrived moments before your e-mail. Certainly a noticeable difference, but one we can live with until we return to normal and glad to know we will be updating our members. 73, - Dale WA8EFK On 3/31/2022 1:14 PM, Minster, David NA2AA (CEO) wrote:
