Ballots were counted today for the Oregon Section Manager Recall election. A total of 2618 ballots were mailed in May to Members in Oregon for this election. Here are the results: "Shall the Section Manager be recalled, yes or no?" Yes: 939 No: 280 Invalid (unmarked) ballots that were returned: 8 Therefore, the Section Manager is RECALLED. The official tellers were Steve Ewald, Barry Shelley, and Chuck Skolaut. A representative from our auditors, Haggett, Longobardi & Company, LLC, delivered the ballots to HQ this morning and was on hand to observe the proceedings. Steve Ewald will notify the recalled Oregon Section Manager, Marshall Johnson, KK7CW, and the lead petitioner, Rob Worley, W7VWW of the results, along with Director Milnes.
