All -- In the past, FCC has declared communications emergencies following disasters. What's happening in the southeast is clearly larger than any other disaster in our recent history, and I've not seen anything from the FCC with regard to a communication emergency. Done anyone know if one is anticipated? Should ARRL request one from FCC on our ARES members' behalf? Or has FCC done away with such notices?
