[arrl-odv:21085] Digital PhotoPro magazine

I received a nice copy of Digital PhotoPro magazine in a first class ARRL envelope today?? Was this supposed to be QST? 73, Greg Sarratt, W4OZK

Greg -- The EC met in Denver last weekend and thought we'd change the scope of the organization in anticipation of the future. As time marches forward the ease of using higher and higher spectrum gets easier. As a forward looking organization we are skipping this GHz business and leading the way to the efficient and effective use of THz spectrum. Our member journal must reflect this as well, to include THz receivers that go "click" when their PTT button is depressed. Or something like that. 73, Brian N5ZGT Sent from iPhone On Oct 6, 2012, at 12:50 PM, "Greg Sarratt" <w4ozk@arrl.org> wrote:

Brian, I agree with forward looking, but this is a big step. I guess the long black gloves on the cover are good for tower work and outside operating in the winter. 73, Greg, W4OZK From: Brian Mileshosky [mailto:n5zgt@swcp.com] Sent: Saturday, October 06, 2012 2:18 PM To: Greg Sarratt Cc: ODV Subject: Re: [arrl-odv:21085] Digital PhotoPro magazine Greg -- The EC met in Denver last weekend and thought we'd change the scope of the organization in anticipation of the future. Gee, guys, I'm feeling left out. I got a copy of QST in my 1st class envelope today. 73 - Kay N3KN

I am afraid I am a second recipient of Digital Photo Pro by first class mail in an ARRL envelope. The mail-from zip code is 61764, same as the usual QST mailing. Postmark date October 3, received October 6. I understand our printer sends out the first class copies to Diamond Club Silver and up members and other recipients. I'm guessing Werner Publishing is another of their clients, and they put the wrong publication in the right envelope. I am sure they will make it right to however many folks are affected (I'm hoping just Greg and me). 73 de Brennan N4QX ________________________________ From: arrl-odv-bounces@reflector.arrl.org on behalf of Kay Craigie Sent: Sat 10/6/2012 9:42 PM To: arrl-odv Subject: [arrl-odv:21092] Re: Digital PhotoPro magazine Gee, guys, I'm feeling left out. Geez Wiz! Now I feel left out! From what I've read it beats my professional "Underground Construction" magazine. 73, Bill W2UDT ----- Original Message ----- From: jfenster@pacifier.com To: Brennan Price, N4QX <bprice@arrl.org> Cc: arrl-odv <arrl-odv@arrl.org> Sent: Sun, 07 Oct 2012 18:54:28 -0000 (UTC) Subject: [arrl-odv:21094] Re: Digital PhotoPro magazine Gang, Add another! I just checked my PO box and also received a copy of PhotoPro. For a second I was thinking that that was a pretty good looking ham on the cover! Brian Sent from iPhone On Oct 7, 2012, at 12:54 PM, jfenster@pacifier.com wrote:
