Bob Inderbitzen, NQ1R, will be attending the event. Membership-related e-mails sent earlier this month have brought in just under 400 members. Jackie Ferriera reports that a direct mail piece featuring the new editions of The ARRL Handbook and The ARRL Antenna Book is being prepared. Both books will be available for order in hardcover or softcover mid-August, with delivery early October. April and May orders for the ARRL Begali Key have shipped. Batches 1 and 2 included a total of 41 keys. Yvette Vinci prepared the email notification for the August 2015 digital edition of QST, distributed to ARRL members on Friday, July 10. The distribution list included 120,673 members. A follow-up notification was sent on July 21, with a summary of "What's Trending" in the issue. The distribution list included 121,303 members. He also updated the web code practice files and their archives. Scott Gee had one more training session with Sani Zanovic on the processing of VUCC applications and their certificates. He also worked on fast and slow code practice files for the week. Field Organization/Public Service Team One amateur from Western New York completed certification to become an Official Observer this week. Jamming and improper operation was reported occurring on 3952 and OOs were alerted. Follow up on 6 meter interference is progressing in the Oregon case. Questions handled dealt with identification while in a net, the Technician license, the Official Observer program, CW privileges and 3rd party traffic.
