Steve was a very dedicated, and hard woking indivdual who loved his work and the League. He will sorely be missed. M. today. Ellen his wife was with him at the time. I shall remember his wit, and enthusiasm when we worked together in Washington. He was a true D. C. "Junkie" as he liked to say. He always liked to point out to me, the various "people that are in Washington" and tell me a little about each. One night in particular, Allen Greenspan came in to the restaurant and sat at the table next to ours. You could clearly see that Steve was excited and that he loved his job. We shall miss him.
