David - The ECAC report is very interesting and seems to have had a great deal of thought put into it. I'm not so sure about their final recommendation and I'm sure PSC and the Board will have a good discussion about the report. You mentioned the PSC had a lengthy discussion about the report, so I'm wondering if there are any meeting minutes available. I had a NE Division cabinet meeting yesterday and wanted to discuss the report but decided that I couldn't, since reports are not released until after the Board meeting (and some not at all). I would have liked to get feedback from Section Managers and appointees. Are you anticipating a Board vote at this meeting on their recommendation for a joint ARES/NTS committee? -- Tom ===== e-mail: k1ki@arrl.org ARRL New England Division Director http://www.arrl.org/ Tom Frenaye, K1KI, P O Box J, West Suffield CT 06093 Phone: 860-668-5444

Hello Tom; As the PSC scribe, I have not completed the minutes from the last PSC meeting where this report was introduced. Although there was significant discussion at the PSC telephone bridge meeting, the minutes will have points of business of the Committee but will not read as a transcript of those discussions and thereby will be lacking the detail that you are seeking.
