Re: [arrl-odv:15596] Secret Society?

I'm with Coy. Sure japped my jaws. Seems I recall years ago Sumner telling stories about how the ARRL helped save them a couple of times when their sales were so poor. Maybe he doesn't need to be on one of the League's Committees next time around. 73, K5UR -----Original Message----- From: Joel Harrison <w5zn@arrl.org> To: arrl-odv <arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org> Sent: Wed, 30 May 2007 11:29 am Subject: RE: [arrl-odv:15596] Secret Society? don't think I have seen this specific editorial, although I did read one e sent out concerning RM-11306 that pretty disheartening to see coming from ich. All I can say is if I were Rich and was sitting back watching the League row with a considerable amount of positive attitude from radio amateurs ationwide and my magazine subscriptions weren't keeping pace, I'd be a ittle sour as well. Too bad, as Rich is on the ARRL Public Relations Committee! 73 Joel W5ZN p.s. Yea, Coy, it didn't chap my jaws but it sure chapped the front to back atio of my body! -----Original Message----- rom: Coy Day [mailto:n5ok@arrl.org] ent: Wednesday, May 23, 2007 5:36 PM o: arrl-odv ubject: [arrl-odv:15596] Secret Society? Hi All, I just read Rich Moseson's editorial about the ARRL being a secret ociety. His comment about "saying one thing while doing another" really happed my jaws!
