Folks: At the October EC meeting, it was reported back that when filing the changes to the Articles approved at the July meeting, that Connecticut counsel was directed by the Secretary of the State of CT that the Articles were deficient and must be amended to include the following before they would accept the change: Add the following: "The Corporation is nonprofit and shall not have or issue shares of stock or make distributions." The EC approved the change and has forwarded it to the ARRL Board for action at its January 2019 Annual Meeting. The proposed motion is attached and is forwarded to you to comply with the 30-day notification in order to qualify for the 10-vote requirement instead of the 12 vote requirement.
