4 JUN, 2004 - 1245 CST Hello Jim... The real question is how much starch does it take to keep these all cotton shirts reasonably smooth? We quit using starch a couple of decades ago and don't plan to use it again. :) BTW, In the last six months, I have purchased several all cotton shirts that use a new permanent press treatment that is guaranteed for at least 17 washings. It really works. The shirts do not easily wrinkle when worn and are absolutely smooth when laundered and tumble-dried according to directions. Glad you are now back in the 21st century. We lost power last Saturday evening for a couple of hours during a torrential rain and the only thing keeping my finished basement radio room dry was a large 12 VDC (back-up) marine bilge pump powered by a 140 Amp marine deep-discharge battery. - Dick Isely
