I have also been a member of the team that managed our National Convention in Huntsville and, this year I am responsible for the planning for Dayton as well. This year, I have also been developing a local, field based, membership recruitment program that will launch nationally this summer. In my experiences, I've seen many instances of what works and doesn't work both in the field and at the Hamfests and Conventions that I have attended and organized. Because of this, I am very pleased to announce that effective immediately, the responsibilities for organizing and supporting ham fests and conventions will be moved in to the Sales & Marketing Department under my direction. Our team is very pleased to welcome Gail Iannone who currently performs these functions in the MVP Department, as a new member of the Sales & Marketing Department. Gail will continue to provide the same outstanding support and services for hamfests and conventions as she has done in the past.
