Greetings, Tom Frenaye and I reviewed division and board meeting expenditures this last week. Our specific findings will be in the 24 July A&F committee meeting minutes. I will say that we were unable to find enough savings to bring all our Vice Directors to both ARRL board meetings annually. The A&F committee at the 24 April meeting did consider the attendance of Vice Directors at board meetings. Knowing that many of the Vice Directors are planning to attend the July board meeting at their own expense we addressed issues that might come up at that meeting. The committee recognized that the Rocky Mountain Vice Director, Rev Morton, is authorized to attend at ARRL expense since he was unable to attend the January meeting. Other Vice Directors that attend will have to do so at their own expense with no reimbursement for travel, lodging or meals. However, the consensus was that the intent of the board was not to exclude Vice Directors in attendance from the social aspects of the meeting and that they should, therefore, be able to participate in the ARRL contracted meals Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday noon.
