ARRL office functioning despite snowEnjoy yourselves, Dave. Bob ----- Original Message ----- From: Sumner, Dave, K1ZZ To: arrl-odv Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2004 7:46 AM Subject: [ARRL-ODV:10092] ARRL office functioning despite snow There was a lot of hype about the snowstorm that moved into New England late last night, so I want to assure you that the ofice is functioning normally. There's about 8 inches of new snow on the ground and it's still falling, although only another inch or two is expected. Most of the snowfall occurred while there was no traffic on the roads, so the highway crews were able to do a good job of plowing. My 23-mile commute normally takes about 30 minutes; this morning it took 35 in light traffic. I will be on vacation January 29 through February 5 and do not expect to check email during that time. If you hear a weak signal signing KP4/K1ZZ during that time, it probably won't be a bootlegger. 73, Dave K1ZZ
