[arrl-odv:30239] Fw: RSGB RadCom May edition available to all radio amateurs online

Passed along by Dave Sumner, IARU Secretary. For those of you who aren’t RSGB members or haven’t seen a copy of RadCom here’s the opportunity. I had forgotten that they list all new and returning RSGB members along with longtime members. Check out the “Cabin Fever Award” (P. 13) they’ve got running during the COVID 19 mess. 73, Rod ____________________________________ Rod Stafford W6ROD ARRL Int’l Affairs Vice President <http://www.flickr.com/rodstaffordphotography> www.flickr.com/rodstaffordphotography Sent: Friday, May 01, 2020 11:56 AM To: 'Region 1 Member Societies' <membersocieties@iaru-r1.org <mailto:membersocieties@iaru-r1.org> >; 'secretary@iaru-r1.org' <secretary@iaru-r1.org <mailto:secretary@iaru-r1.org> >; iaru@iaru.org <mailto:iaru@iaru.org> <iaru@arrl.org <mailto:iaru@arrl.org> > Cc: RSGB Communications <comms@rsgb.org.uk <mailto:comms@rsgb.org.uk> > Subject: RSGB RadCom May edition available to all radio amateurs online As another part of the RSGB " <http://www.rsgb.org/gota2c> Get on the air to care" campaign, the May edition of RadCom is being made available to radio amateurs around the world to read online as a sample edition. I love Radcom. I’m a member. The RSGB is how I got licensed, through the C&G RAE manual. 73 Ria, N2RJ On Fri, May 1, 2020 at 1:58 PM Rod Stafford <w6rod@comcast.net> wrote:

Noel explained to me how the procedure for licensing worked in T&T when were at some Region 2 meeting. If I recall, he referred to “the Guild.” 73, Rod Amateur Radio W6ROD ARRL Int’l Affairs Vice President
