ODV, To update my comment at the EC yesterday about the timing for Administration nominees to be named to head the NTIA and FCC: later today or tomorrow the White House is widely expected to announce that its nominee to head NTIA is Alan Davidson, most recently Mozilla Foundation Senior Advisor. Before his current position, he was Mozilla vice president-global policy, digital economy director at the Commerce Department (2015-2017), and Google's first U.S. public policy director. FCC Chair? The White House is not commenting when questioned, but expectations are that it is not “just around the corner”. The fact that the NTIA nominee will be announced separate from the FCC nominee indicates that finalizing the selection for FCC Chair is not imminent. (would love to be wrong …) Dave K3ZJ David R.
