I'll be taking off tomorrow morning to start work at the California Department of Forestry Timber Mountain fire lookout in (the very rare) Modoc County, California. I'll be with HF gear and on both 6 and 2 meters, as well as have access to email. This is a "summer" job I have always looked forward to doing. I call it "The ultimate vacation" !
