Thanks, Barry. As we go forward, I hope that everyone will support the Board’s decision. Many of you have heard my comments before that back when I was a Director, and Officer, too, the Board passed numerous motions that I did not like and I voted against. Some were on issues that made me so mad I could spit nails. However, once the Board voted and made the decision, I supported that decision even though I voted against it. I didn’t go back to my Division and torpedo the Board and my colleagues. We argue, debate, and sometimes can get mad at each other, but once we make a decision and hit those double wide doors to leave, we need to take the high road and support each other and the League. Please consider this as we go into yet another very important period of time for the League and Amateur Radio. Thank you. Rick Sent from my iPhone

Thank you for getting this out sooner rather than later. Early, accurate information is key to suppressing the rumor mill and I appreciate that. Feedback from the community has also been overwhelmingly positive. I fully back the Board’s decision and would have done so no matter who “won.” And as much as I’ve criticized the committee for the delays, I think that given the unique circumstances we are under, they did pretty well. My focus and our focus should now be on January, when this new CEO should be well settled in and ready to roll up his sleeves and get some long-standing things done. On a sad note, I lose one member from my division, which has been bleeding population in general, understandably.
