The following sad news comes from Larry Wolfgang, WR1B: "Robert York Chapman, W1QV passed away this morning. Robert was President Emeritus of the ARRL Foundation and an Honorary Vice President of ARRL. Robert was 96 years old. He was living at the Groton Regency Home. "I received a call from a mutual friend, Robert Rowe, NR1Y to tell me that Robert Chapman's son Court had called him this morning with the sad news, and to ask him to let ARRL know about his father's passing. "Court mentioned calling hours at the Byles-MacDougall Funeral Home at 310 Thames Street, Groton on Monday November 24, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8."
