I'm back from Africa. I didn't get to operate but I did copy a little CW on my shortwave portable with a BFO. Sigs coming into East Africa are very weak. Right now I'm suffering with a poor to nonexistant e-mail connection. I'm using a dial up connection to attbi, my supposed-to-be cable modem. Hopefully it'll be fixed by the end of the week. It is good to be back where I can actually drink the water, drive on the right side of the road and get the dust,dirt and animal dug out. 73/Greg W7OZ
