[ARRL-ODV:10549] Re: Grassroots BPL package

Rick, the material was sent as attachments to ODV message 10519 last Tuesday, April 27. These files were attached: call to arms.doc Managing a Grassroots Campaign on BPL.doc Rep letter re Bush.doc Sen letter re Bush.doc BPL-leave-behind.pdf 040426 press release.doc bush1.doc It may well have been caught up in that Internet problem early last week. I'll send you a copy. If anyone else needs a copy please let me know. I'll also ask John Hennessee to send it to the SGL list and invite them to help stir the pot. 73, Mark K1RO

Mark:
I was at a hamfest this weekend, the Louisiana State Convention, and the grassroots campaign material question came up. I was not aware that we had sent it to the SM's yet and when questioned, I had to say that I wasn't sure if what the SM was referring to was the special grassroots package or Dave's call to arms info on the Web site. Perhaps the Board got a copy of the final version of the grassroots package info and I just missed it. There were a few days a week or so ago that some ODV mail didn't get through here.
In any event, it would be good to distribute a copy of the grassroots info to the Board so we know what was in it. Also, has it been sent to the clubs yet? Have we thought about the SGL reflector? Yep, I can hear Sumner saying now that the SGL's are for state issues (hi), but hey, it won't hurt, after all, it's a "call to arms!"
