Ladies & Gentlemen: On the topic of HR588 and research funding for Restoring Networks in Times of Disaster, Mike Corey reports: "HR588 has come up on the radar for Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) and NENA (National Emergency Number Association). Next week NPSTC will be meeting and, so far, HR588 is not on the agenda. My guess is that the issue is still being studied by the other associations and the NPSTC Executive Committee. Will have more information after the Governing Board meeting next week." We appear to be ahead of the power curve on this issue, so let's not educate any competitors outside ARRL. Gallagher 3/20/17
