9 DEC, 2005 - 1400 CST One more stroke on the carcass... If any "salvaging" was done, it was LoTW (a linux-based, in-house developed program) that salvaged DXCC. The commercially-produced "new" DXCC software was a train wreck prior to the year 2001 that cost us more than $100,000. It's my understanding that at least the LoTW link to our DXCC accounts database was also done in-house. I'm not sure if any "new" DXCC accounts database has ever been implemented. We have not heard anything about it, so I assume we are still using the patched very old DXCC accounts software. Dave Sumner can probably shed some light on this. 73 - Dick, W9GIG
