FYI HQ is working on a VOTA Red Badge Day announcement like we did in 2014 during the centennial for those members in the points chase to add a bunch here in the home stretch. Sunday the 17th is the planned day. Hope to "see" many from ODV on the air handing out points. 73.. Mark, HDX

I'll be on for the 10 meter contest this weekend, another chance to hand out VOTA points! I'm going to try and stay in the Tech phone portion of 10 meters to be able to hand out as many points as possible. I have "red badge" day marked on my calendar too.... 73; Mike W7VO

I’m in! What time does it start? I suppose we’ll get the word. I was banging along on 10m CW last night for the contest until around 05:00 with some interesting propagation and noise/QRN/QRM. I went QRT dodging storms this morning and as you probably know? we have big damage in TN. I was back on 10m CW crushing it this afternoon with an old school JA run. The band died around 01:00 here with a totally blank band scope, but I will be back on tomorrow morning when the band opens with EU CW and then finish up with SSB. Lots of points passed out today and last night. K5UR, W7VO, K1KI, N6AA, W5XX (MS SM) and K9JF in the log to name few of the red badges floating around on 10m this weekend. Still looking for AC0W.
