I applaud the diligence of the headquarters staff members who worked long and hard to first catch up with the 2009 DXCC application backlog and then went on to process all of the accumulated 2010 applications. However, I would like to know the cause or causes of this latest DXCC paper pileup. Was it a side effect of our staff efforts to get our new web site up and running? Higher than anticipated DXCC submissions? Cabin fever? The lack of sun spots? Inquiring minds want to know. - Dick Isely, W9GIG
