[arrl-odv:19152] RE: [arrl-odv:19150] Members Only

Jim, There is no "members only" are, per se. When you sign in, the site knows that you are member and grants you the appropriate permissions, such as access to the QST archive. 73, Harold Harold Kramer Chief Operating Officer ARRL -the national association for Amateur Radio 225 Main Street Newington, CT 06111 (860 594 -0220 From: Jim Weaver K8JE [mailto:K8JE@ARRL.org] Sent: Sunday, July 11, 2010 7:18 PM To: arrl-odv Subject: [arrl-odv:19150] Members Only I may be showing my ignorance once again, but do we not have a MEMBERS ONLY area/page on the new web site? If we do, it is obvious that I cannot find it. Tnx, Jim Jim Weaver, K8JE, Director ARRL Great Lakes Division 5065 Bethany Rd. Jim et al, There may be some problems with permissions. It is a complex system that we will be working to simplify internally. If there is a specific instance, please let us know and we will work on resolving the problem. Katie Glass has been working in this area and she has the most familiarity with the permission system, so please cc her as well as me. Some additional fixes:
From Norm Fusaro:
The A-1 Operator page now shows correct and up-to-date information in the roster and nominee lists. http://www.arrl.org/a-1-operators The club update form is now up on the web. http://www.arrl.org/clubs A link has been added to the club page both in the page and on the carousel at the top of the page. http://www.arrl.org/club-update The link takes users to a pdf that open with instructions and screen shots for editing and updating club information as well as uploading photographs. http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Clubs/Club%20Update%20procedure.pdf Like the previous web site the form generates an e-mail to HQ staff who can update the master record in Seibel. Changes made by the user are immediately shown on the web and sync with the HQ master data base after HQ staff enters the changes. 73, Harold Harold Kramer Chief Operating Officer ARRL -the national association for Amateur Radio 225 Main Street Newington, CT 06111 (860 594 -0220 From: Jim Weaver K8JE [mailto:K8JE@ARRL.org] Sent: Monday, July 12, 2010 3:04 PM To: Kramer, Harold, WJ1B; arrl-odv Subject: RE: [arrl-odv:19150] Members Only Tnx, Harold.
