I expect the very earliest I can get away from Hazard, KY, is 11 AM Saturday which should leave me with a 5-6 hour drive. Incidentally, I went to the Michigan convention in Holland and then the Benton Harbor 'fest over the weekend. I came back to US 30 (via US 31 in Michigan) and on to I-75 near Lima, OH. This, of course, took me around Ft. Wayne. It is not a bad drive, at all, using 30. I'm likely to take I-75 north from Kentucky to US 30 on to Ft. Wayne in 2 weeks.
