The second is what I use to follow up a couple of weeks after the initial contact. In between there may be additional emails as questions and requests for more information occasionally arise. Lastly is a thank you for the support of the Congressman/woman as he/she adds their name to the Bill. As I have no way to email the Member directly, the thank you goes to the staffer (whom I also thank).
