[arrl-odv:11992] Re: "The most successful BPL deployment in the nation"

I'd be selective, Tom. I guess what you have in mind is to show members that BPL doesn't have the legs that some in the BPL industry would like everyone to believe. But we've been pretty careful to keep our focus on interference, so I'd prefer that we not do an all-points distribution (at least, not one attributable to us -- note that I am identified as the author under "Properties" in the Word document). Attached is a handout I prepared for last Friday's workshop, just in case the ComTek representative gave me a hard time or made outlandish claims. He did neither, so I kept it in my briefcase.
But I thought you might enjoy it.
Good conference report - worthy of some note in a web news story, not just the BPL section. The Manassas timeline is great stuff - I'm assuming you don't mind if that is seen by our members. -- Tom ===== e-mail: k1ki@arrl.org ARRL New England Division Director http://www.arrl.org/ Tom Frenaye, K1KI, P O Box J, West Suffield CT 06093 Phone: 860-668-5444
