Unfortunately, I must inform the Board that our colleague Tom Abernethy has tendered his resignation as Atlantic Division Director effective at the close of business this Friday, January 6, 2023. Vice Director Famiglio will serve as Director for the remainder of Tom’s term, and a new Vice Director will be appointed.

Tom has served for over 20 years in various ARRL elected offices. While he plans to remain active supporting the League, he must devote more attention to assisting Debbie due to health issues.

I’ve worked with Tom on numerous assignments and committees over the years. I will miss him. Tom, thank you for your service to the League and Amateur Radio!
