I was at first angry and disappointed with the FCC's decision. As I think further, maybe its not too bad. LET ME SAY HERE, I'M LIKE RICK, I DON'T TRUST THE FCC AT ALL! But they probably don't care. First the FCC recognized us big time. They took some pains to say they would try to do away with our interference concerns. It seems they may try to notch out Amateur Radio bands for us. So that's all good. On the other hand I don't know that they can do this. And what about when I fire up my SB-220 or my pair of 4-1000A's (powered down of course)? Is this "notch" going to keep me from shutting down the neighborhood? Am I going to have to notify my Power Company every time I want to get on the air? Will I have to notify them every time I want to just listen? Lots of unanswered questions. Happy Valentine's Day PLUS a big Happy Birthday to the State of Oregon. It was founded on this day in 1859. 73/Greg W7OZ
