[ARRL-ODV:11590] Re: ODV Message Numbering -- Was Ham Radio and Radio Astronomy

This has been a known fault since at least 2000, when I first brought it to someone's (probably Barry) attention. I find it to be a nuisance, as one can never be sure if a message was missed by relying on the assigned number.
