Good afternoon Officers, Directors and Vice Directors, For those of you that are arriving late (after 8:30 p.m.), you will need to get a taxi/or uber to get to the hotel. ....and BTW, both times I tried to a rent cab to get to the hotel, and again today to get to ARRL HQ, they were "cash only". They don't seem to take credit cards here. Your best bet is Uber, but I did see one Lyft car at the airport last night. That said, a rideshare might be the best choice unless you carry a lot of cash on you. (My first Uber driver canceled on me at the last minute, so I had to rebook. The last one took forever to pick me up, but finally made it.) After about 11 PM there "were no drivers available"... 73; Mike W7VO

Hi Mike, Thanks for the info. That is not good information for me, considering that my flight lands at Bradley at 10:45 pm this evening. It will be 11 pm before we pop out of the terminal with our luggage. May need to call for help tonight !!!! 73, Dave, K2DP

There is a taxi stand about 100 feet down the road to the right when you first get out to the curb. Uber and Lyft pick up from where the normal passenger pick up is (2nd curb over). That makes it a bit confusing since they are mixed in with other many cars that are are in and out picking people up also. You have to keep a keen eye for the make and model of the ride share car you ordered, and hope you can read the license plate in the semi-dark. It was a challenge. Good luck to everybody! 73; Mike W7VO

Uber has been hit and miss since travel has picked up again. There aren’t enough drivers, likely because the economic incentives have changed. I was in LA recently, a place you’d think Uber drivers would be plentiful. I had to get a ride to and from the LAX car rental area (long story) and other places. Each time it was a 20 minute wait with several cancellations before one finally stuck. Sent from my iPhone
