WNY Section Manager Scott Bauer W2LC has acknowledged receipt of the message from Dave Sumner. A reply is expected early week. I am encouraged by his taking a few days to think things over, rather than replying in haste. When and if he posts anything on the internet about the situation or discusses it with, say, another SM, we may get questions about what is going on. While I continue to believe that proactively publicizing the situation to Section Managers at this point in the process would hinder achieving the best possible outcome, any direct questions that Board members may receive can certainly be given direct answers, preferably sticking to the facts provided over the past few days. If someone asked me why we haven't put something on the official SM reflector, my answer would be that we are doing our best to allow a fellow elected official of the League a way out of the jam he is in, if he will do as he's asked, with as much of his dignity intact as possible. 73 - Kay N3KN
