This starts the clock on the 60-day window for public comment: Pursuant to §§ 1.415 and 1.419 of the Commission's rules, interested parties may file comments on or before December 24, 2012, and reply comments are due January 22, 2013. Regarding this NPRM, an outline of major questions raised in the document will be sent to the EC later today for their review and then on to the full Board in a few days when any EC edits have been incorporated. Because the comments deadline is before the Board meeting, the EC will review and approve the filing. However, because this proposal affects licensing requirements and license exam procedures, it is important for the full Board to have the opportunity to consult your members, as you see fit, and to express your views on what the ARRL's positions should be on the issues.
