Hi all: I hope everyone is having a great super bowl weekend! Now that the board meeting is behind us, here's a few thingsto keep in mind: 1.) On January 31, Tom sent out a set of talking points coveringcertain actions at the board meeting. See ODV:26183. 3.) Jay, Chris, and Tom will continue their work on reviewof the By-Laws to bring them up to date with the guidance of Day Pitney. Partof that task will be to look at the standing of Vice Directors. I pledged tothe Vice Directors that we will clean up that issue once and for all. I'm notsure what the answer will be, but we need to get it resolved. 4.) Every Division closed the year on negative numbers formembership totals in 2016. Of course, the dues increase accounted for much ofthose results. But, that was last year and we need to really focus on turningthose numbers positive this year. We are entering hamfest season. Let's get outthere and hit those forums and work those ARRL booths.
