The core of 30 tour guides have welcomed thousands of visitors to Headquarters throughout the organization's Centennial year. Jackie Ferreira reports that readership surveys are being conducted with randomly selected ARRL members and subscribers for our journals QST and QEX. The information gleaned from the online surveys will be used for editorial planning, marketing, and to explore other improvements including digital publication considerations. We introduced a digital edition of The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual to Amazon's Kindle Store, selling 140 copies in the first week. The project was completed with help from Production Department staff, who managed the file conversion of Ham Radio License Manual to a digital book. Having a digital edition responds to increasing demand from readers who prefer digital publications and online content, and furthers our interest to expand beyond traditionally printed books. Feedback from members following our promotion of the Kindle edition on ARRL's Facebook Page has been overwhelmingly positive.
