The hotel for the board meeting is very close to the common corner of grid suares EL49, EL59, EM40, and EM50. The January VHF contest starts at 1300 CST on Saturday and will run through most of Sunday. Now, I acknowledge that work has to and will come first, but to have this many hams this close to a grid square corner during a VHF contest requires that a rover operation be conducted, however limited in scope. Failure to do so would almost be a crime against Amateur Radio.
