As part of the ARRL Headquarters' Field Day 2007 activities, we have planned a couple of special activities for next Friday - June 22. Our goal is for those of us experienced amateurs to share some of the excitement of the hobby with those in the building that may be new to the hobby or haven't yet been "Bitten By The Bug." You are also invited to drop by W1AW between 2:00 PM Saturday June 23rd and 2:00 PM Sunday June 24th and participate in some of the "on the air" Field Day activities. We will have Elmers/Mentors at the station over the weekend who are eager to help you learn more about what we actually do while operating. If you would like to come by, you are more than welcome. There will be stations on the air using the three major forms of amateur communications - Voice, CW (Morse Code) and Digital. Come experience some of the FUN that is amateur radio. More details will be shared early next week, but we hope each HQ staffer will participate. Watch your email next week.
