12 JAN 2009 - 1352 CST I just got off the telephone with Howard Huntington, K9KM. He has both good and bad news. The good news is that his wife, Nancy was released from the hospital early. The expectation was that she would not be coming home until after the ARRL board meeting. However, it appears she is improving faster than was originally anticipated. The bad news is that Howard is her principal care-giver and he will be required to stay close to home for a few more weeks. Therefore, he will not be attending the January 2008 board meeting. Please keep Howard and Nancy in your thoughts and prayers as they both work to return to a more normal retired life style. FYI, he now finally has email access at home. Anything posted here, to any other ARRL reflector he is subscribed to, or to k9km@arrl.org, should show up in his computer at home.
