November QST has the annual "Statement of Ownership, Management, and Circulation" required by the US Postal Service. Sometimes, members or others who like to read fine print question the figures. The statement shows a total paid circulation of 128,287 and a "free or nominal rate" distribution of 15,205. The reason for the large "free or nominal rate" figure is that the Postal Service requires us to count most Life Members in this category. When this and Family memberships (where one copy of QST serves two or more members in a household) are taken into account the circulation statement is fully consistent with our membership figures.
