[ARRL-ODV:8129] Re: Euchre Nite

Tuck, Dick, et all, Being a transplanted mid-westerner (you can't tell by the call - hi) I would be honored to play Euchre with the gang. It was the demise of my career at Purdue but, I got my senses back when I went to Indiana Univ. ! Haven't played in a number of years but I certainly haven't forgotten. Hello Tuck...
Our first two waves (out of four) of Christmas Day activity are now complete and I have a few minutes to respond to your inquiry.
I grew up in central Missouri and Euchre is one of the few widespread card games that I never played. Pinochle, Canasta, Gin Rummy, Hearts, Black Jack, Poker (no wild cards - moderate stakes), and Bridge are my games... with Bridge being my current card game activity. If time permits, I might be interested in watching a game of Euchre. However, please keep in mind that there is often a meeting of the "ARRL Lively Arts Society" on one of these evenings.
