Considering we are not being swamped with detailed Board material at this time and in consideration of the 60th anniversary of D-Day, I submit the following thought: 1. Envision standing in front of the new WW 2 Memorial in DC. 2. Imagine looking at all its grandeur from a short distance. 3. Imagine, too, a discrete-but-readily-noticeable sign a respectable distance from the memorial. 4. The sign reads: "In memory of the thousands of people whose sacrifices made it possible for the French not to have to speak German."
