I am now awaiting the decision of the WilmerHale "finance committee" (a gruseome thought; my father regularly decried to me?the devolution of?law practice from a profession to a regular commercial business)?on Jon Frankel's request that they cap their?fees at what has been billed to date. I have a very strong expectation that they will do this. But if not, with the advice and consent of the EC and the A&F Committee, we will certainly consider that as a fallback. I am going to be very disappointed if they propose to charge more than what has been billed to date, however.
